Since the advent of human civilization women have been prevented from playing a full and equal role in human society. The discrimination unjustifiably attributed to the higher authority has provided a rationale for the denial of women’s equal rights across the world for century’s .It has cost many millions of girls and women control over their own bodies and lives, and persists to deny them fair access to education, health, employment and influence within their own communities. Intellectuals, activists and even the policy makers have long recognized these issues and have stated the solution as “Women Empowerment.”
